6th Annual Custom Motorcycle BikeFest
Saturday, June 5, 2010 (rain date June 6)
Last year’s BikeFest attracted more than 1,000 motorcyclists
and thousands of the curious to Millville’s Glasstown Arts District for
a day-long celebration of the art of custom cycling.
This year’s 6th annual BikeFest – on Saturday, June 5 – is expected to roll out the same degree of thunder, as the region’s celebrants compete for a total cash purse of $3,000 in categories ranging from Antique Bikes to Best Chrome.
The Festival commences at 2 in the afternoon at the conclusion of the “Tour d’Swamp.” 75-mile Poker Run.
Michele
Smith, host of American Thunder aired on the Speed Channel, will
again be among the pack, as well as in town later to sign autographs and
enjoy the Festival’s varied food and live entertainment. Last Call will
perform in the Village on High (the cluster of petit shops and artists’
galleries located in the 500 block of N. High Street, at the Arts Districts
upper end).

The blues band Mud Puppies will perform in the gazebo next door to the Old Oar House Irish Pub – also on High Street.
